| tom jowitt | 24/06/02 13:19:00 | i wasn't a close friend of Jon's but i met him enough times to know that he was one of the dryest, funniest kids i've met. everything he said was so deadpan and i couldn't tell whether i was on the end of some elaborate wind up or not. it made me smile and i feel priviledged to have spent some time with him. our views on various things from music to politics differed quite a lot but it was always fun having a good arguement over a few beers with Jon!
